March '08 - NI Tennis Clubs have a smashing time in the Czech Republic
Members of CIYMS Tennis Club and Tennis Fundamentals recently had the opportunity to view several domes in the Czech Republic, where the Sole Sport Structures product is manufactured. Whilst there, they were able to visit the manufacturing facility in Pardubice where they watched as sections of dome material were bonded together, and checked out the various electrical elements. The members were fortunate enough to see the deflation of a dome for maintenance, and some of the many regular coaching sessions which can take place at guaranteed times thanks to this all-weather solution. In addition, the dome enthusiasts took time out to play in the temperature-controlled, illuminated environment which our air structures provide.
Dec ’07 - Tennis Ireland reveals its intentions for indoor tennis facilities
At the 2007 National Tennis Forum in Dublin, Tennis Ireland outlined a desire to encourage the development of indoor facilities. They want to see clubs considering temporary air structures as a means of overcoming the restrictions placed on the game by bad weather.
